Educational Website

Just in time for the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, we’re launching a new online resource for teachers, students, and anyone interested in learning more about Paul Revere! This educational website includes a variety of resources illuminating the life of this famous Patriot, Colonial Boston, and the American Revolution. Browse for primary sources, transcriptions and audio recordings, high-resolution images of artifacts, timelines of Revere’s life, and suggested classroom activities!

Field Trips

The Paul Revere House offers a variety of school programs ranging from 30-45 minute site visits to 90 minute programs for school groups of all ages. You can read more about the options we offer here, or contact our education department (617-523-2338 or education@paulreverehouse.org) to ask which option is right for your group!

Boston Public Schools

The Revere House provides free school programs for Boston Public Schools students. If your group qualifies, please select the “$0.00 per group for a city school” pricing option on Explorable Places when you make your reservation. We also offer discounts for Title I schools for both on-site and outreach programs.

We also have funding available for free bus transportation for Boston Public Schools groups. Once you make your reservation, we will send along information about how to reserve school busses.

For city schools with nearby access to the MBTA, public transit may also be an easier option for getting to the Revere House. The museum is located within walking distance of the Aquarium blue line station, the Government Center blue and green line station, and the Haymarket green and orange line station. You can find more information on pre-paying fares and reserving field trips with the MBTA here – children under 11 can ride the MBTA for free.
